Yess Yoga, located in Minneapolis, has brilliant and diverse yoga classes in a community atmosphere. We encourage people of all body types and abilities to attend classes and workshops. Our thoughtful teachers will bring their unique personality and style to every class. The common thread, each teacher wants to share movement and mindfulness with everyone who enters the studio.
Classes that don’t have a description below are going to be a flow or vinyasa class and are directed by the students. In fact we dare to call it “Intuitive Yoga”. Please share your needs. Each class is an hour long. All classes are drop-in basis.

This is an invitation to disconnect from the chaos of your daily life and reconnect with your true self. At this group reading, you’ll be invited to ask Christy about whatever you’d like clarity, guidance, or healing around. She will collaborate with each of you, one at a time, delivering the messages she receives. The beauty of this community experience is that the clarity, guidance, and healing that occurs is available to everyone present.

This workshop will help you let go and utilize the depth of your breath throughout your body’s entirety. When your relationship with your breath is strengthened, you can more naturally access the supportive qualities of breathing such as
1. think more clearly,
2.move with greater precision and resiliency
3. rest deeply
4. increase balance
5. understand your body’s signals (physical and emotional, for example).
While this workshop would benefit all, it can especially serve those who experience any of the following: anxiety, shallow breathing, stress and tension, restlessness, a desire to cultivate self-understanding and love, a desire to harness the power of the breath and apply this power to every day life, to name a few.
Join Annika and community in meeting yourself once again through the steadfast ally of your breath! Breathing Freely: Embodying the Breath synergizes breathing practices, movement, touch, and meditation to guide you in to consciously inhabiting your respiratory system and body as a whole.
Throughout the workshop, Annika will highlight the themes of Resiliency, Fluidity, Listening, and Trust. You will learn practices to integrate into your daily life, practices that support the development of self-knowledge, understanding, skillfulness, and enhanced quality of presence.
