Yess Yoga encourages people of all body types and abilities to attend. Our goal is to teach brilliant Pilates and yoga in Minneapolis and keep a focus on a community atmosphere. Our thoughtful teachers will bring their unique personality and style to the class. The common thread, each teacher wants to share movement and mindfulness with everyone who enters the studio. Please talk to us before class about what you want to focus on or awareness you want to bring into class.

This is an invitation to disconnect from the chaos of your daily life and reconnect with your true self. At this group reading, you’ll be invited to ask Christy about whatever you’d like clarity, guidance, or healing around. She will collaborate with each of you, one at a time, delivering the messages she receives. The beauty of this community experience is that the clarity, guidance, and healing that occurs is available to everyone present.
Feel free to bring your own wine or beer to enjoy and/or share (and a glass if you’d like something more fancy than plastic cups!). Yess Yoga will be allowing us to use their pillows, blankets, and yoga mats to be more comfortable, but feel free to bring anything that will help you feel supported on the floor during our time together.

Christy Farr, Intuitive Guide and Catalyst
The art of working on your own balance and posture is great and when combined with another person, even better. The rules of thumb still apply, but taken up a notch as you will practice being aware of yourself and another at the same time. Other terms for partner balancing include “acro balance” and “acro yoga”. This workshop is designed for those that are new to this super awesomely fun art form. You do not need to bring a partner, just a willingness to try something different. Look forward to leaving with a tool belt of tricks to work on with your friends and family.
Join Jessa Walters and Lucia Yess on Saturday, December 13th from 7-9:30 pm for a soulful evening of self care, especially for women. As we shift into Winter, the season of going within, it is a welcome time to slow down and offer ourselves extra nurturing and support. Our time together will begin with embodiment through light dance, which will prepare us for a healing castor oil treatment with hot stones. This powerful self care ritual will bring you more fully into your body, soothe your mind and relax your soul. We will end with time to write – draw – reflect to integrate this evening of self care into our wider worlds

Does the cold and shorter days bring you down? It’s a perfect time to go inward and embrace your inner light, strength, beauty, and shadows. Join Lucia and Anna for this monthly workshop series to help you move mindfully into (and through) winter. Our time together will include yoga asana, journaling, dance, music, discussion, breathwork, essential oils, and play—all designed to help you explore, connect, let go, uplift, and rejuvenate. This supportive community will share wisdom and tools to help you thrive this winter.
December 13: Navigate the busy holiday season (with its excitement, stress, and obligations) and find your own joy, connection, and self-care within that.
January 10: In the season of New Year’s Resolutions, claim your own enough-ness. Let yourself be seen as you are, with nothing to prove.
February 14: Connect to your heart center so you can meet others from that place of authentic self-love and loving-kindness. (Yes, it’s on Valentine’s Day.)
Chelsea Schmitz will guide your child/ren (5-11 years old) through a playful and challenging class which seek to balance both the inner spirit of the child and help them grow in interpersonal life skills. Elements of art, hula hoop, partner and community poses, group dialogue and cooperative games will be included in classes. In addition your child will learn correct and deep belly breathing as well as other breath practices that will support them physically and emotionally. Parents will be invited to participate in one class (to be determined which class) to practice some techniques and skills that the children have been working on in hopes that parents and children will enjoy the benefits of yoga throughout their day. We hope your child will join us and share yoga, life, and peace. There will be 8 classes in the series, January 10th, 17th, 24th, and 31st and February 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th.
