Songs for Tending your Heart w/ Liz and Conie

Friday, December 5th | 7:30-9 pm | Donation based

Our culture desperately needs spaces where it is safe to feel your sorrow and the weight of the weary world. Come sing through the small and large griefs in your life and give them space to breathe and heal.

Song leaders Conie Borchardt and Liz Digitale Anderson (aka GOOD TROUBLE) hold care-filled circles for you to find freedom in your voice, de-stress your nervous system, and move your body.
.
Every voice is welcome! We teach all the songs call and response- just open your mouth and echo back. We’ll sing songs to ground you, heal you, and help you breathe in the days to come.
.
Pre-register + pay what you can: $5-$20 sliding scale (No one turned away for lack of funds; we want you there!) You can also pay on the door.
**Notes: Because Covid is airborne and we’ll be singing indoors, we are asking folx to mask up for this workshop. Thank you!

    Grief as Pleasure w/ Sarah

    Sunday, December 7th | 6-8 pm | $40 or $75/two people

Grief and pleasure are not opposites — they are made of the same current: aliveness.

In this workshop, we reframe grief not as something to be “gotten over,” but as something to be moved with. Through breath, sound, movement, and embodied ritual, we learn how to let grief do what it came to do, transform us.
    .
When we allow grief to move through the body, it can feel, well, good, cathartic and transformative. There’s release, warmth, expansion, even joy. This is the sacred alchemy of feeling. Together, we’ll create a space of safety, reverence, and curiosity — a space where grief can become a doorway into deeper pleasure, presence, and vitality.
    .
    What to expect:
-Guided somatic + energetic practice and movement
    -Embodied ritual for transformation
    -Time for reflection + integration
-A held, loving container for whatever arises
    .
This is for anyone who senses something ready to move — loss, change, transition, or the ache of being human. You do not need to fix your grief; you only need to let it breathe.

            Yoga and Acupuncture w/ Tatum

            Sunday, December 14th | 7-8:30 pm | $40 or $75/ two people

Yoga and acupuncture are a match made in the chillest of heavens. Whether you’re new to acupuncture, yoga or you love them both, this is an accessible and affordable way to combine these two healing modalities at once, each month at Yess Yoga.

This 90-minute trauma-informed yoga class will begin with a slow flow / yin yoga practice and conclude with an extended savasana needle nap. Together, the two complementary modalities will provide an opportunity for folks to relax and find balance. Tatum Fjerstad, a yoga teacher and licensed acupuncturist, will be leading the yoga and providing the acupuncture. All levels are welcome.

Masks are optional during yoga and required during the acupuncture portion.

This event will be split into three parts: time to discuss the current astrology, time to lay down and breathe together, and time after the breathing to share witness. No previous breathwork experience necessary. Wear comfy clothes, bring a yoga mat, an eye covering (mats and other props are also available onsite to borrow if needed!)

Winter Solstice- Rest and Renewal w/ Amy and Lacey

              Saturday, December 20th | 6-8 pm | $40 or $75/two people

Join us for a Winter Solstice Astrology + Breathwork workshop.

The Winter Solstice marks the longest night and the turning of the wheel back toward the light. It’s a potent time for reflection, deep rest, and planting quiet seeds for the year to come. Lacey Prpic Hedtke from The Future will share grounded astrological wisdom about how to navigate this season with presence and care.

We’ll then move into breathwork guided by Amy Kuretsky, L.Ac from Constellation Acupuncture & Healing Arts – a practice that helps clear the clutter of mind and body, allowing you to reconnect with your inner spark. In the warmth of community, you’ll be held in a space of restoration, renewal, and quiet magic. We’ll close with gentle integration time together.

Because breathwork can bring up intense emotions and strong physical experiences, please understand that issues arising from participation in Breathwork may require additional therapeutic or supportive interventions. If you are in the first trimester of pregnancy, have a recent TBI or history with seizures, retinal detachment, or any other significant health issue you’d like Amy to be aware of, please make this information known to her prior to your participation. As always, please feel empowered to discuss breathwork with your physician if you are concerned about participating for any reason.

Bring a mat, wear something cozy, and join us to settle into this two-hour practice.

Cozy Focus- Sound Bath and Yoga Nidra w/ Elisabeth and Michele

              Sunday, December 28th | 6-8 pm | $50 or $90/two people

Join Michele and Elisabeth for an opportunity to drop in and reflect as we wrap up 2025.  The Winter Solstice in the Northern hemisphere is the darkest day of the year because the Sun is on the tropic of Capricorn in the Southern hemisphere. This year, that falls on December 21st, which is also a New Moon, meaning both the Sun and Moon will be in the sign of Capricorn. Furthermore, Mars will be conjunct the Sun, also in Capricorn. With the Sun, Moon, and Mars in Capricorn, we will be looking for tangible, achievable goals to make use of our emotions in meaningful ways. We have been feeling a lot lately, and so, now the question becomes, “What do I make of these emotions? What are they showing me about myself and my life? What lessons are embedded in these emotions?”

During our time together we will share yin postures, breathwork, a yoga nidra with sound bath and a deep savasana accompanied by the gong, with space for self reflection as well as a time to gather in community.  No previous experience needed. Please wear warm comfortable clothing, as well as a water bottle and journal/pen.  If you are prone to headaches, please bring a head covering (beanie, hat, bandana, etc)

Join us on New Year’s Eve for a soul-level reset — a ceremonial space to shed the weight of this year, nourish your nervous system, reconnect to your heart, and step into 2026 with clarity, intention, and embodied power.
Together we will move, breathe, release, and remember who we are beneath the noise and expectations of the world.
              .

              A heart-opening cacao ceremony
Somatic techniques for grounding + emotional support
              A dynamic, intuitive movement practice
              A sound Bath for integration
Reflective journaling + a closing ritual to anchor your next chapter
              .
This is a space for clarity, softness, awakening, and the subtle magic that comes when the year is turning.
              .
Come as you are. Leave as who you’re becoming.
We can’t wait to celebrate this threshold with you.
