Yess turns 13 this month! Being a teenager brings more curiosity, fun and identity to the center stage. Perhaps a bit of wildness too 😝. We are excited to move through this era alongside you. As we embrace our “return” this month, I am reminded how Yess began.
I will never forget the beginning of this community. It feels like yesterday I was sitting with David and my dear friend Jen in Portland coming up with names. I remember them just laughing at all the ideas and eventually saying “you are clearly trying not to say the obvious one”. With a humble heart, Yess Yoga was named. Yess, is not only my last name, it is how I want to move through life with all of you. I want to move in our individual and collective relationships with an obvious YES(S)!
To birth something in this world is such an honor. To watch this community grow and be influenced by so many people, that has been one of my favorite things of my entire life. It makes me choke up thinking about how many people have come together here. How many people have felt seen and witnessed by themselves and by others. How many people continue to walk away feeling hopeful. I want us to live with a resounding YES to life, side by side, for as long as you will have us!
